A Case of Cauliflower Wart On Scalp
Warts are small, noncancerous growths They appear when your skin is infected with one of the many viruses of the human papillomavirus (HPV) family. The virus triggers extra cell growth, which makes the outer layer of skin thick and hard in that spot.
Who Gets Them?
Because each person’s immune system responds differently to the virus, not everyone who comes in contact with HPV will get a wart.Kids and teens get more warts than adults because their immune systems haven’t built up defenses against the many types of HPV.
There are many types of warts like flat warts, plantar warts, common warts, filiform warts. etc
Here this is a case of filiform warts. These fast-growing warts look thread-like and spiky, sometimes like tiny brushes( looks like a cauliflower growth).
Case Overview
A 30yrs old male presented with two to three cauliflower like filiform warts on his scalp over a period of six months. it was initially a small bump before a year and after six months it started growing rapidly in bunches and exactly looked like a cauliflower. He complained of itching and there was no pain. On taking the case in detail, his physical and mental state was also elicited. The constitutional remedy was selected and a liquid medicine was also given along with this course to apply over the wart
Improvement Status
The patient was requested to share the pictures on a monthly basis and after a month of treatment all the three warts on the scalp drastically shrinked and became a small bump. The patient is continuing the course for the complete cure.
